Every VAELLE frame begins as a titanium wire and ends as a piece of jewellery for the face.

The craft

Our artisans in the Italian Dolomites bend, tumble, polish and hand-finish every frame. Each pair passes through eleven hands before it earns the VAELLE stamp.

Ultra-light titanium

A single piece of Japanese-grade titanium is folded, pressed and polished until it weighs less than nine grams. No screws, no visible joints — just a continuous, impossibly light line.

The fit

Nose pads are cut from hypoallergenic silicone and set by hand. Temple tips are tapered so the frame rests, rather than grips. You feel nothing after the first minute.

The lenses

Every lens is polycarbonate, anti-reflective and UV400 protected. Prescription, reading and blue-light variants are cut to order in our workshop.

Care

Clean with the microfibre cloth and a drop of water. Never use solvents. Store in the recycled-fibre case supplied with every pair.
